Even though we met in January of 1997 dancing ballet folklorico at SDSU, our love story began on May 26, 2017 in Guanajuato, Mexico. He stole a kiss from me in the callejoneadas the first night we arrived. Guanajuato made its magic and we had the most amazing trip. We decided to make our relationship official on June 3, 2017.

This started as a long distance relationship since we were living 358 miles apart. We tried to see each other as much as we could and enjoyed every moment together.

Our proposal took place at the beautiful beach of Tulum, Quintana Roo. He invited two of my sisters and niece to be part of this special occasion. Even though he forgot to kneel at first when he popped the question, it was just perfect for me.
